Dressage Camp @ Manor Grange. August 2020
We are living in very strange and different times, and as such it has been very hard to plan and arrange equestrian activities.
We have been given the go ahead to run a ‘camp’ with strict observations of the Government & BRC Covid-19 Guidelines.
We are still mindful of some local areas are in lockdown and this has had a part to play in the delay.
This has been on hold since the dates were released earlier in the year. The dates were published and we have a list of interested members. To book a place, please can you complete the form, pay your fee and return to me ASAP (closing date 17/8/2020).
Camp 1. Will run 20th & 21st August. – Cost per horse £215
Camp 2. Will run 22nd & 23rd August. – Cost per horse £215
This is to give members the choice of weekday or weekend. If you wish to do all 4 days then that is fine.
The trainers booked are Claire Marie Senior & Andrew Day. Both trainers have a wealth of knowledge and experience both as trainers and as competitors.
Please state your choice of trainer on your form.
What is included:
All arena and parking / camping facilities.
2 sessions each day ( 4 sessions in total) with the trainer of your choice. One of which could be a test riding session if you wish. You can discuss and make a plan with your trainer.
We are allowed to stay over, but there will be no shower facilities available. Members will need to provide their own breakfast and lunch for both days. An evening meal can be ordered ( on a separate form) from Manor Grange, and this will be cooked on site. BBQ’s will be permitted if they are away from the stable area and any buildings. ( please be mindful of taking all you rubbish
home)😁
There will be a presentation / demo on each of the sleepover nights for everyone in camp.
Stabling is available @ £25 per Stable used, so if you are overnight it will be £25 ( this also covers your day time stabling). If you are travelling both days and want day time only stabling, it will be £25 for the duration of camp.
There will be a starter bed in the stable, and only shavings will be permitted. You will need to provide your own Hay / Haylage and hard feed for the duration of camp, and bring your own mucking out tools.
Non-riding members in camp – You will be allowed to bring non riding members but they will need to complete a form and return it with your camp booking form with their details for Government & NHS Track & Track purposes.
All sports are being closely watched, and to enable the sport that we love to be back up and running, it is important to be sensible at all times and observe the social distancing guidelines.
Manor Grange are making every effort to have all safety measures in place and to accommodate us. let’s hope the weather is kind for camping!
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to get in touch. I know this is last minute but the dates have been out a while and at least we can run. 🥳 Looking forward to seeing everyone.
